Students

Graduate Students:

Prospective graduate students interested in M.A.Sc or Ph.D. programs should directly apply to the department by the deadline set by the graduate office. The application package can be found here. You should indicate your interests in applying to the communications group. Your application will be reviewed soon after the deadline. I expect one or two openings in my group every year in the Fall, with financial assistance.

Procedural questions (such as the minimum required TOFEL score) should be directed to the ECE Graduate Office. Please read and follow the instructions carefully.

Due to the volume of email inquiries, I do not personally reply emails regarding graduate admission. I apologize and thank you for the understanding. However, it is helpful to send me a copy of your resume, transcript and statement of purpose after you have applied officially.

Undergraduate Students:

For undergraduate students interested in research assistantship, please check the NSERC website for relevant information. The application deadline is in February. I am looking for students with solid mathematical background, and interests in communication theory.
